1. Halloweekends (Cedar Point)
Cedar Point is located in Sandusky, Ohio, a.k.a the roller coaster capital of the world. Not only do their coasters offer a thrill, but their Halloweekends event puts on just as much a fright.
Starting September 13th, every Friday and Saturday until October 27th, be prepared to scream in a haunted corn maze, scary performances and other scare zones. If you have smaller children, they hold The Great Pumpkin Fest during the daytime, which has fun for the whole family.

2. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (Walt Disney World)
Magic Kingdom in Orlando, knows how to celebrate a holiday like no other theme park. While it might not be the scariest Halloween party that theme parks have to offer, it does make it festive none-the-less.
Kids young and old alike will enjoy the Boo-To-You Halloween Parade and the Not So Spooky Spooktacular over Cinderella castle. The whole family is encouraged to rock their best Halloween costume and trick-or-treat for some yummy candy.

3. Halloween Horror Nights (Universal Studios)
This is a theme park event that isn’t for the faint at heart and I’d highly discourage bringing children. But if you’re a fright fanatic, Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios is one of the best scare fests in the theme park world.
They bring to life The Walking Dead, Stranger Things and American Horror Story, so there’s no hesitation that you will be scared stiff during the night. You’ll even run into creepy characters including Freddy Krueger, Leather Face with his famous chainsaw, Chucky and more evil villains. This party is to die for!
4. Fright Fest (Six Flags Magic Mountain)
How about a theme park where nightmares are made from? In Valencia, California, just north of Los Angeles is Six Flags Magic Mountain.
Huge crowds from all over come to Fright Fest to be frightened in their haunted house, the witches lair and a creepy Sewer of the Souls Maze where your soul might be lost forever. Beware of the ghouls and zombies along the way!
5. Howl-O-Scream (Busch Gardens)
Do you believe in ghosts and ghouls? After a night in this theme park, you might change your mind. Whether you’re at the Tampa Bay, Florida or Williamsburg, Virginia locations, Busch Gardens throws a Howl-O-Scream event every Thursday through Sunday night until October 29th. Busch Gardens promises that it’s one of the scariest Halloween events that you can imagine.
6. SCarowinds (Carowinds)
Located in Charlotte, North Carolina is Carowinds theme park. Yet for the month of October, is transformed into SCarowinds. There are countless scare zones and scary mazes with demented scarecrows that chase you into a dead end. Visitors love navigating the cobblestone streets of “Fleet Street”, a haunted old-time London street filled with ghouls and monsters.
7. Phantom Fright Nights (Kennywood)
For over 17 years, Kennywood in West Mifflin, Pa., has put on one frightful Halloween event that keeps visitors coming back. Starting at dusk, Phantom Fright Nights comes to life with bone-chilling attractions in “Mortem Manor” and a zombie infestation at “Gory Park.” Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through October 29th, come be apart of this terrifying tradition if you dare.
8. The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular (Sesame Place)
Let’s not forget Halloween is for the children’s enjoyment too! The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular at Sesame Place in Langhorne, Pa has no blood or haunted houses for you to worry about, yet still has fun for the whole family.
