Frozen 2
Frozen 2 will always hold a special place in my heart as it was my first red carpet experience. But beyond that – it’s actually a good sequel! Which we all know isn’t always the case.

Spies in Disguise
Perfect for just about the whole family, Spies in Disguise is a wonderful movie that boasts some important lessons.
I actually got to see Spies in Disguise before it had been viewed by any other audience! Seriously, we got to see it literally the day after they finished it. And I loved it. Even if you don’t see this one on Christmas day – make time to watch it with the kids. The lessons taught are more valuable than anything.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker may not be a hit with critics but they’ve got it wrong. As a Star Wars fan for the last 30+ years, I loved every minute of it. It was an epic final chapter that had me laughing, crying and hollerin’ the entire 2+ hours.

Little Women
I have been looking forward to this one for a long time. I used to watch the 1994 version all the time. And when I say all the time – I mean all the time. Anytime I was sick, feeling down or just wanted to escape to a simpler time.
Just over 2 hours and rated PG, Little Women should be good for the whole family. But as I haven’t seen it and I’m not sure if it will hold the attention of little ones – may want to make this one tweens and up.

Jumanji: The Next Level
The Rock, Jack Black, Kevin Hart and Karen Gillan are back and bolder than ever. And I can’t believe I haven’t seen it. But Jumanji: The Next Level is at the top of my list to see Christmas day. And it should be on yours too!
Based on the PG-13 rating and what we saw in the first one, don’t take the kiddos. At least those that are under 10. Luckily for us, our youngest is 12 and so hyped for this movie.
About Jumanji: The Next Level
When Spencer goes back into the fantastical world of Jumanji, pals Martha, Fridge and Bethany re-enter the game to bring him home. But the game is now broken — and fighting back. Everything the friends know about Jumanji is about to change, as they soon discover there’s more obstacles and more danger to overcome.
Just Mercy
Just Mercy won’t be in theaters everywhere on Christmas Day, but if you’re one of the lucky ones – Go see this film. I’ve been stalking Fandango hoping a theater near me would be showing Just Mercy before the official release, January 10, 2019. But no luck. yet…
This one isn’t for the kids, so leave them with Grandma and Grandpa. The strong storyline and intense themes Just Mercy isn’t so kid-friendly, but would be a great learning tool for older kids!
