Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom maybe rated PG-13, but dinosaurs are a fan favorite for kids of all ages. These inspired dinosaur treats will be a hit at any dino themed party or get together. Plus, they are quick and easy to make which is a big bonus for us busy moms!
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp butter
- 6 cups Rice Krispie cereal
- 10 oz package of marshmallows
- food coloring
- 3 giant gummy dinosaurs
- 3 large plastic eggs
Instructions
Gather all your ingredients, because at the end you have to work fast so that the marshmallow mixture doesn’t harden. Lightly butter the inside of each egg part.
In a large pan melt butter and marshmallows together. Stirring consistently so that it doesn’t burn.
Add in food coloring until desired color is reached. Use your imagination! The eggs can be any color(s) you choose.
Remove from heat and stir in the Rice Krispie cereal.
Squish the marshmallow cereal mixture into each half of the giant plastic eggs making sure to leave space for the gummy dinosaur.
Place 1 gummy dinosaur inside 1 half of the plastic eggs. I did the bottom half as it seemed easier.
Close egg and allow to cool and harden. I put them in the fridge for about a hour, because my son just couldn’t wait.
These are HUGE! So, be prepared for some hyper kids or do as I did and make them save some for later.
