I bought my Instant Pot on clearance over a year ago with great intentions… But it’s been sitting in my cupboard gathering dust since the day I brought it home. I finally decided to give it a whirl and boy, am I glad I did!
It’s actually quite simple to use and not as scary as I imagined it to be. Just don’t tell my mother I said that because then she’d make me admit she was right… again.
Game day is right around the corner and I have to say these Instant Pot ranch wings are the perfect snack. Besides being full of flavor they are super simple which makes these wings a WIN in my play book!
Instant Pot Ranch Wings
Ingredients:
1 package ranch seasoning
½ cup water
2 tbsp liquid smoke
1 tsp garlic
3 pounds chicken wings
Instructions:
- Prep your wings. Wash, dry and cut them. Set aside.
- In your Instantpot, add 1 tsp garlic to the bottom.
- Pour in 2 tbsp liquid smoke and ½ cup of water.
- In a bowl, empty 1 package of ranch seasoning mix. Add some salt and pepper.
- Coat each piece of chicken in the ranch mix.
- Place in the Instantpot. Make sure you don’t go over the max fill line.
- Cover the pot and secure the lid. Be sure that the valve is set to sealing.
- Cook on the poultry setting. If you want to cook on the manual settings, set for 4 minutes for tender wings or 5 minutes if you want fall off the bone wings. When the timer beeps, let the pressure release naturally for 5-10 minutes. Then release the rest of the pressure by moving the valve to the venting setting.
- Remove from the Instantpot and place on a baking sheet. Broil for 2 minutes on each side.
- Serve.
