Branson’s Famous Baldknobbers show takes you back to the good ‘ole days of country music, gospel and comedy then adds their own updated twist on it. The music will have you stompin your feet and clapping your hands while the comedy will have you rollin on the floor laughing.

We saw three shows on our adventures with the Blogging Branson crew and each show was unique. The Baldknobbers show focuses on family values, faith and some good ole hillybilly fun!
What’s a Baldknobber
I know this is the question on everyone’s mind. Baldknobbers were a vigilante group in the 1800s that took the law into their own hands. They would meet on treeless hills (bald knobs) in the Ozark Mountains.
On with the show & the Mabe Family
Starting out as a way to entertain fisherman’s wives, the Mabe family have been entertaining Branson since 1959. Now led by third generation, Brandon Mabe the show has been updated, but still holds true to the family legacy. During the evening, you’ll be treated to some current country hits along with songs that made country famous sung by Brandon, his wife, Megan and his mom, Patty. His dad, Tim Mabe as Droopy Drawers and his buddy, Hargus, will have you laughing so hard tears will be rolling down your face and your sides will hurt.

Check them out! They have swagger and talent. Branson’s show business is huge, but the performers and entertainer are always connected. Through this show and that show this group of accomplished musicians have a history together. And it shines on stage!

We had an incredible time at the Branson’s Famous Baldknobbers show, but I have to admit hanging out with them afterwards was the highlight. Down to earth, friendly and so much fun the Mabe Family are true Branson gems.

Many have told us that fifty-eight years is a feat for any family to continue a business. It is. But for us, those fifty-eight years were just the beginning. We intend to to take our legacy into the future with no fear or inhibition. We will hold true to our beliefs. We will use new to spread God, country and family to a new generation. We will use new to continue using our God-given talents to bless others with an entertainment experience only Branson and the Baldknobbers can provide.
