Easy DIY Cereal Valentines

If you’re like me you are just realizing Valentine’s day is just around the corner. The kids will be coming home with class lists and expecting you to have it all figured out. And with those Pinterest moms killing it with creative and fun Valentines – You know you need to step up your game. These easy printable cereal Valentines are sure to make you the cool mom!

Supplies:

• Pouches of cereal
• Printable Valentines cards
• Hole punch
• Yarn
• Double sided tape

Instructions:

Print out the valentines cards and cut them out.

Punch a hole in the top center. 

Through the hole, add a piece of yarn. 

On the back, place a piece of double stick tape to help the Valentines stay in place. 

Wrap it around the bag of cereal and tie in a knot. 

These printable cereal Valentines are so simple my tweens were able to do them with little supervision. Granted, they did waste some tape by playing with it. What is the fascination with tape?

Younger ones will obviously need supervision and help with the cutting, but it’s a great way to get that eye-hand coordination practice in!
