Fall at Disneyland Resort is something special! I love all the character pumpkin heads that welcome you as you walk in, the splash of bright orange throughout the park and the Great Mickey Pumpkin on Main Street.
We use to go to Mickey’s Halloween Party when we lived in San Diego and are so excited for this new fall jamboree. Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party will take the frightful fun to a whole new level.
Where will the Oogie Boogie Bash take place?
Oogie Boogie has taken his party across the Main Entry Plaza to Disney’s California Adventure (DCA). My personal thoughts on this is that DCA is the perfect location to spice things up!
Plus, with Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opening at Disneyland Park, I’m not surprised that Disney didn’t want to close the park down to the majority of guests.
How can you get tickets for Disney’s new Halloween party?
Disneyland annual passholders, Disney Vacation Club members and Disney Visa cardholders were able to get their tickets starting last week. And tickets go went on sale for the general public today, April 30, 2019.
Tickets to Disneyland Halloween Party can be purchased online, by calling
(714) 781-INFO or (714) 781-4636 or at the park ticket booths. There is a limit to an eight (8) ticket limit each person can purchase per event night.
How much do tickets to Disneyland’s Oogie Boogie Bash cost?
Tickets to the new Oogie Boogie Bash vary depending on your selected party date. Prices range from $110 to $145 per person. If you are a Disneyland annual passholders you can save up to $10 on select party nights.
When is the Oogie Boogie Bash?
The new Halloween party takes place over several evenings in September and October.

How does the after hours Halloween Party work?
The new Oogie Boogie Bash is a separate hard-ticket event, which means you must purchase a special ticket to gain access to the after hours party. The ticket is only valid for the party night purchased and only allows admission into Disney’s California Adventure Park (DCA).
Guests with the Halloween Party ticket can gain entrance into Disney’s California Adventure three to four hours early, depending on selected party date.
We love to have a relaxing resort day before heading out to an after dark Disney party. This allows us to rest up before a late night, but also lets us save a day on our regular Disney ticket! No sense in wasting a day when you can have up to nine hours in Disney’s California Adventure Park.
Can you wear a costume to Disney’s Oogie Boogie Bash?
Yes! All ages are encouraged to dress up but don’t feel like you have to if it’s not your thing. All costuming must meet the guidelines set forth by Disney Parks. But most of all have fun with it!
We love to dress up and have done full costumes and simple Disneybounding. It all just depends on what we’re feeling the day of the party and how the weather is!
What’s new for the 2019 Disneyland Halloween Party?
Not only will partygoers enjoy the traditional trick or treating, character meet & greets and the Frightfully Fun Parade, but there will be brand new wicked fun to be had!
- Instead of the traditional Halloween fireworks show Guests will be treated to an all new “World of Color” show – “Villainous!”
- Redwood Creek Challenge Trail will be transformed into a spooktacular world of Disney villains.
- A new dance party “DescenDance” will get everyone out on the dance floor with the hit songs from the widely popular “Descendants” films.
- Join Mickey Mouse and friends at the new Mickey’s Trick and Treat show where kids of all ages will enjoy this new interactive stage show.
Tickets are going to sell out quickly, so get your’s early and be ready for a spooky good time!
