Is the movie family friendly?
I have grown up watching Scooby-Doo, that’s 40ish years. My 20 year old daughter has loved the shows and movies since she was just a toddler. She’s my fearless one. Now, my youngest at 10 years old is still afraid of his own shadow… Ok, he’s not that bad, but he is not a fan of scary, no matter how mild it is.
But he loved Daphne and Velma! It isn’t scary, more suspenseful in a fun way.
Daphne and Velma are wonderful and add some depth to the traditional characters. Even the oldest who is a Scooby-Doo purest and who wasn’t thrilled that the film only had 2 Scooby characters had a fun time watching it.
Overall, Daphne and Velma is perfect for all ages.
We really enjoyed the movie and it got 2 thumbs up from the whole family!
