The Showboat Branson Belle is part of the Silver Dollar City Attractions family and has been taking passengers on an exciting dinner cruise for over 20 years. Following suit with Silver Dollar City, the Branson Belle dons her Christmas best for the holiday season.
A Showboat Branson Belle Christmas
As a Blogging Branson Ambassador, I was invited to experience an Ozark Mountain Christmas as part of a media trip. All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
The Showboat Branson Belle takes you back the 1800s with elaborate theming which is followed throughout the ships dock, White River Landing. As I mentioned in my Silver Dollar City Christmas article, I adore the 1800s and have since childhood. And I’ve wanted to do a showboat dinner cruise since my time in New Orleans, so needless to say I was stoked for this experience.
All About the Showboat Branson Belle
The Showboat Branson Belle has been entertaining guests for over 20 years! With three levels designated to
Don’t spend all your time in your seat though! There is an upper level that allows splendid views of Table Rock Lake and if you time it just right you will get to watch the sunset which is just stunning.
Fun Fact: The Showboat Branson Belle was launched from her lake side shipyard August 13, 1994, using two tons of bananas as a lubricant for the nine second slide into the water.
Showboat Branson Belle Holiday Entertainment
Decked out in elegant classic Christmas splendor, the Showboat Branson Belle kicks off her holiday season the beginning of November.
Our show started off with the comedic act of one, Mike Bliss. Funny and charming he had us laughing till our stomachs hurts and tears were rolling down our cheeks. All I can say is – you never know what will happen when you rely on audience participation! Oh em gee, I’m giggling as I think about it.
I wasn’t sure what to expect beyond Christmas tunes, but to my excitement we also got to hear talented vocal performances that included songs from the 1960s to today’s hits. But my favorite was the brilliant movie soundtrack mashup that took you on an entertaining journey through movie history.
Dining On Board the Branson Belle
Fact – You never leave hungry when dining in Branson.
We had the general admission seating meal that includes a three-course meal – salad with freshly baked roll, honey citrus chicken and slow roasted pot roast with green beans and garlic mashed potatoes and Silver Dollar City’s lemon berry ice cream pie.
Let me tell you that lemon berry ice cream pie had to be the best dessert we had the entire trip! Absolutely Amazing!

Showboat Branson Belle Presents Santa’s Pancakes & PJs
Santa’s Pancakes & PJs is a magical way to get your little ones ready for Christmas! Available weekend mornings, kids can put on their favorite holiday PJs hang out with elves and fairies at Sugar Plum Fairy Sweet Stops and get their face painted, and get a unique gift from the Showboat Captain while in the wheelhouse.
After their grand adventure, everyone will gather in the dining theater for a pancake breakfast, cookie decorating and fun entertainment including special guests from Branson’s Promised Land Zoo.
Let me tell you, this is on my bucket list! And the price is right too – $35 ages 10+ and $27 ages 2-9. Not bad considering all you get!
Shopping at White River Landing
On media trips our time is not our own and each minute is accounted for, so unfortunately I didn’t get to explore the shops like I wanted to. But, I did take a quick peek! And you will find something for everyone including some one-of-a-kind holiday gifts.
- Layton Mercantile – A shop with stylish woman’s clothing, accessories and where you’ll find the Showboat Branson Belle Box Office.
- Mcadoo’s Boatworks – Take care of all your souvenir needs and find a wide assortment of Table Rock Lake apparel.
What I loved even more about the ship’s dock is that parking is free and no Showboat admission is needed to stroll around while doing holiday shopping at White River Landing
Final Thoughts
I had a wonderful time doing the Christmas dinner cruise on the Showboat Branson Belle! The food was delicious and filling and I loved that they asked about food allergies as you sat down! I would do it again for sure, but next time I want to do the Santa’s Pancakes & PJs. Ha!
