The most beautiful season is already upon us. Fall. Not only is the temperature just right, but there’s something about the colored autumn leaves and pumpkins sitting out in the pumpkin patch, which is just so enjoyable.
But we’re talkin’ about Central Florida, so that perfect temperature and colorful leaves – yeah, those are a distant memory from when we lived in Maryland.
What we do have are a number of festivals and entertainment that make the season extra special for celebrating with you and your children. If you live in the Central Florida area or are visiting during the month of October, there’s a few fall festivals that you’re going to want to have marked on your calendar.
Here’s a quick glance at some of the best festivals that are taking place during the month of October!
1. Central Florida Veg Fest (Orlando Festival Park, Orlando, FL)
On October 26th, 2019, the Central Florida Veg Fest is actually a festival centered around vegetables.
Come on out, even if you’re a meat-lover, to taste and enjoy delicious veggies from vendors and local growers.
2. Mount Dora Craft Fair (Mount Dora, FL)
On October 26th-27th, the city of Mount Dora, Florida puts on the Mount Dora Craft Fair. There are over 400 crafters and artists that will be displaying their finest art for sale.
This 2-day event also has plenty of food and other entertainment for you to enjoy.

3. Epcot International Food and Wine Festival (Walt Disney World Resort)
Epcot (Walt Disney World, Orlando) The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival will be one fall event that you won’t want to miss.
From August 29th through November 23rd, Disney showcases foods and drinks from all around the world. You can also brush up on your cooking skills at several cooking seminars and demonstrations that they hold.

4. St. Peter Catholic Church Oktoberfest (Deland, Florida)
From October 3rd through the 6th, St. Peter Catholic Church puts on a four day Oktoberfest.
There you will find plenty to eat and drink, and also exciting carnival rides. Make sure you bring grandma for the Bingo.
5. Ocala Oktoberfest (Ocala, FL)
The Ocala Oktoberfest is a festival with music, countless beer stations, and great eats for you to devour. Be sure to head on over to the giant beer tent at Tuscawilla Park, that promises to be better than ever.

6. Avalon Park Oktoberfest (Orlando, FL)
Running two days from October 11th-12th, 2019, will be the Avalon Park Oktoberfest. Admission is free and will run from 5-10p.m.
There’s a beer garden for adults and even a rootbeer garden for the kids. There’s also games, contests and alpine dancing for those of you who dare.

7. Oktoberfest Tampa (Tampa, FL)
There’s sure to be plenty of German beer, food, and music at the Oktoberfest Tampa. Games include stein holding, cornhole and carry the wench.
The event costs $10 a day, or $25 for the weekend while running from October 11th-October 13th. Armed Forces members that have a valid military ID, will be given free admission.
8. Oktoberfest on the Beach (Indian Rocks Beach, FL)
The Oktoberfest on the Beach takes place in Kolb Park on October 12th, 2019. There will be music and dancing, and challenging contests such as keg throwing and stein carrying.
You will also find a kinder fest for the younger ones. There will be face painting, clowns, bounce house, and a balloon artist.
Admission is free!
9. Biketoberfest (Daytona Beach, FL)
In its 27th year, Biketoberfest runs from October 17th through the 20th, 2019 and is sure to be a smashing hit for the biking enthusiast.
Attracting visitors from all over the country, this 4-day event will feature the top local vendors, motorcycle racing, live music and so much more!

10. Celebration Oktoberfest (Celebration, FL)
On October 18th and 19th, starting at 5:30, the town of Celebration puts on their own Celebration Oktoberfest.
General admission is free. Come out and enjoy a fun night of pumpkin painting, hayrides, and other fun fall entertainment.
11. Top of the Bay Oktoberfest (Tampa, FL)
From October 18th through the 26th, Top of the Bay Oktoberfest is fun for the whole family.
Come enjoy German beer, food, entertainment, crafts, and a carnival. You won’t want to miss participating in the barrel rolling. There will also be live music and dancing. Admission is $5 for adults, while kids and those with a military ID get in for free. This event draws in over 20,000 visitors each year.
